Lisa Berlin Wright
Background
Lisa Berlin Wright is a consultant and speaker specializing
in licensing, promotions and recreating an executive life. She
co-manages “Recreating The Executive Life” with her husband
Rick, after recreating her own “executive life”. Based on a
successful career as a senior executive in the entertainment
industry, she started a consulting business helping her clients
with her innovative solution based sales, licensing and
promotions expertise. Her clients have included New Line Cinema,
Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox International Theatrical
Marketing, Sony Pictures Entertainment and IMG.
She is known as a strategic alliance tie-in expert with solid
history of selling integrated, multi-media/licensed promotional
entertainment advertising campaigns to Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to starting Wright Consultancy Lisa was the SVP Worldwide
Promotions for Universal Studios, Consumer Products Group. She
managed the sales team and staff responsible for all licensed
promotional tie-ins for Universal Studios licensed theatrical
and TV properties. She has negotiated entertainment promotional
tie-ins and licenses with companies including Visa, The United
States Postal Service, Kellogg’s, Coca-Cola, General Mills,
Hershey’s, Ziploc, Wendy’s, Burger King, Jack in the Box and
many others.
Prior to Universal Studios Lisa was the Vice President of
Promotions and Consumer Products for the Hamilton Projects unit
of Spelling Entertainment. While there she oversaw all
promotional and merchandise licensing activity for Spelling
Entertainment properties including Beverly Hills, 90210 and
Melrose Place, negotiating partnerships with companies such as
L’Oreal, Procter and Gamble and over 50 other licensees. For 10
years in a row (1991 - 2000) the Licensing Industry
Merchandising Association has nominated a licensed promotion
that Lisa created as “Promotion of the Year”. Spanning the last
decade she has been responsible for negotiating over $1.5
Billion in media exposure and licensing fees for her clients.
With Recreating the Executive Life she now teaches others the
techniques and strategies she has used to build her executive
career and freelance life.
She is a graduate of New York University, Tisch School of the
Arts as a University Honors Scholar.
